Stress... so many of us face this evil almost every day, whether at office or at home. Stress can make us feel angry, lose control and even cry at times! As being constantly under stress can take its toll on us, deteriorating our health and adversely affecting our work output, it is essential that we get rid of it as soon as possible. Although there are many ways to relieve yourself of stress, such as talking about the 'problems and issues' that have led to stress with our near and dear ones, or spending a few minutes alone in the company of nature, none of these can beat humor in taking care of stress.
Stress Relief Games for Employees and Students
Game # 1
If you are an individualistic person who prefers to handle his problems himself, here is one game for you. Direct all your anger towards one person. He can be anyone - your boss, your colleague, mother-in-law and in some special cases, even your spouse! Take a paper and draw a sketch of the said person. Stick this sketch to a punching bag and well, start PUNCHING! Or, you can stick this sketch on a dart board and then destroy it by shooting darts at it! Believe me, this game might sound ridiculous, but it will definitely give you a hell lot of relief!
Game # 2
Play mental games with yourself. Think about the person who has given you stress and then imagine him nude every time you look at him! So, if it's your boss who is giving you the trouble, while talking to him, think that he is not wearing anything! This will make sure that even if he yells at you or is being unreasonable, it will not affect you one bit! Although if you have a female boss, see to it that you only imagine and not leer!

For those of you who are looking for some group stress relief games, here's a perfect one for you. Have all the participants stand in a circle. Next, give them a ball which they can pass to any one else in the circle, when you play music. As soon as the music stops, the one who has the ball, stands in the middle of the circle.
The others in the group ask him to choose between 'truth or dare'. If he chooses truth, the others in the group can ask him any kind of question such as 'how many times he has been dumped?' or 'has he ever been caught stealing/cheating?', etc. If he chooses dare, he can be asked to do some funny things by the group, such as 'lick someone's feet', 'romantically propose a person of the same sex for marriage', 'act like a three year old', etc.

Besides these games, there are a number of other things that you can do to calm your mind. For starters, start following a balanced diet and avoid junk, fried, fatty and high sugar foods. Exercise everyday. If you can do yoga and meditation, even better. Sleep for seven to eight hours every day, do not take more on your plate than you can handle and be organized. If you follow these simple rules, plus have fun playing the above suggested games, your stress will go right out of the window!
